If you’re reading a book for lit class and are totally lost/confused, read through the tumblr tag.
Particularly if it’s a pretty well known/classic book, i can bet that people on tumblr have geeked out over it, made memes about it, written meta about it, whatever.
I’m doing this for The Aeneid right now because with my APs I didn’t have enough time to carefully read it before our test on Thursday and it’s great. Don’t do it instead of reading, because the stuff you’ll find isn’t that detailed but it is pretty damn accurate and hella entertaining and written by someone who totally geeks out over this stuff.
